Make your own bodice block Saturday 30th November 1.00 - 4.00 for 4 weeks

This class is to make a fitted bodice block pattern from your own measurements. 

You will be helped to measure yourself accurately.

Using your own body measurements, you will be instructed through the pattern cutting formula, and helped to make a block pattern that fits your body shape. 

You will cut out and make an ongoing toile from your pattern, using our Janome machines. 

The bodice block pattern is taught in 3 stages, the loose fitting bodice first, diverting bust darts and waist shaping, finally the sleeve pattern will be produced, fitting the toile at each stage and making any required adjustments to the pattern. 

This process is very helpful to make amendments to your bought patterns, if you have problems with your fit or sizing. 

Everything is supplied for this course, there is no need to bring anything, except a notebook, a calculator or phone (to do the sums)
